Moccozi is a fabric brand founded by Sue Kim. It is a woman-founded brand for fabrics that focuses mainly on providing our customers with extraordinarily artistic and contemporary designs for their fabrics, which embody the true personalities of our customers entirely.
We are a team of 3 family members; a mother, a son, and a daughter. Our work is very organic and organized as we, as a family, share a common vision and have the same goal. Since we clearly understand our goals, we have established expectations and guidelines that save us a lot of time in achieving our goals. We trust and value each other and can count on each other. That makes our bond more substantial, which eventually shows through our brand.
We provide a wide range of comfortable fabrics, from everyday clothing to home décor. Our fabric collection makes it easier for our customers to choose from the finest selection of fabrics from all around the world, as we believe that top-quality products can never go out of style. We also feel very proud of ourselves for creating an easy-to-navigate online store for our customers so that they can go through our collection of fabrics from the comforts of their homes. Since we understand the consequences of synthetic materials on our environment, we always find eco-friendly solutions to provide a comfortable shopping experience worldwide.
Sue, as a best seller author of 5 sewing books, has been successfully running a sewing platform website called ITHINKSEW since 2008. ITHINKSEW is a first for an online-only PDF pattern business. She started this business when she was a stay-at-home mother. As a result of her countless efforts, her business has only flourished, providing services to thousands of sewers, quilters, and small business owners. Her drive and motivation to provide her customers with the best of everything and to flourish her business more has become a part of her personality, and she takes it everywhere she goes.
As a designer and web developer, a person must be very creative and have a brain filled with many innovative ideas. Even when he was a a juvenile, he loved to draw. He was a kid with a very wild imagination that knew no bounds. Despite being this passionate and skillful, life had something else in store for him. He has worked as a programmer, working mainly in UIs and UXs for the past 7 years. He has now decided to put his skills to great use by drawing patterns for this brand. He hopes that he can make many beautiful patterns that our customers will come to adore.
Having a profound love for drawing, designing, sewing, and crafting, Veronica Yang decided to increase her knowledge further and advance her skills by studying Visual Arts. She is currently enrolled at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and her main practices are painting and printmaking.
She takes a lot of inspiration from modern art and combines it with traditional Korean designs. This perfect marriage of practicality and art inspires Veronica to create unique designs that touch on her culture by using her painting and designing skills.
We produce organic work, possibly as a result of being a family. The family can facilitate quick work since there is strong communication and established coordination. Because their mother makes them work constantly, perhaps the kids will disagree.
Examples of my typical planning (layout) are CALEB and VERONICA. We agree on our thoughts for each design, yet we each illustrate them differently. If there is still a separation of duties, CALEB is a superb pattern arranger, and VERONICA is an artist. Only what has been agreed upon is determined by the final version.
